  • RTS - What de we think

Thought he went ok, obviously was never going to have a blinder on the wing because our wingers never get good ball...... Please play him full back...

He didn't make a mistake or embarrass himself,so i'm satisfied..

He worked harder,& was waaaaay more alert & interested than Moga, who was more experienced..

Rts did nothing wrong. Had no opportunities either. Deserves another start.

He went pretty well. I still don't think he is ready for a regular first grade spot let alone at fullback, but he didn't look overawed. The main thing was that his positional play before kicks wasn't quite right - I noticed a couple of times he was getting some guidance from his teammates. Having said that though, between him and Henry I'd give them the rest of the season in first grade.

            Great debut.

The one highlight of the game for us - the thing that impressed me most was his lack of fear and confidence in his first big game. None of our other youngsters have shown that from the get go.

Good times ahead with this guy.

Was a little out of position sometimes I thought when taking those kicks but looks very sharp with that footwork and speed. Also looks very willing to have a go. I'm very pleased and would like him to play again next week.

              Moga had an unhappy night.

It's hard for anyone to look good in this team.

Saw a few glimpses of that wicked step he produces, and can't wait for him to use it in the clear with the fullback to beat (of course that will be next year, but be worth waiting for).

Tau Tau Moga is an amazing athlete and is going to be some player for us in the coming years, but boy he needs to apply himself more. He refuses to dive on a loose ball, even if an opposition player is going for the ball to score a try. He did it tonight and nearly let Idris score, and he did it it a couple of weeks ago and the opposition did score. But like I say when he wants to he has shown that he is something special.

Like Moga, there is little for him to show waiting for quality ball from our useless ****ing spine.

We'll need to wait till he gets in at fullback and is running of sonny, Maloney and Taka.

He has too many wraps on him for me to doubt that, I just can't see it at the moment, although to be fair his halves aren't giving him much

Looked better then Moga. Seems the more complete player compared to Moga and Moga seems down on confidence/interest to me.

A Rooster lifer. He will be a try scoring machine with Maloney being taught by a new coach.

Definitely a stark difference i noticed between the two. Moga at times seems a little hesitant and disinterested with some opposition kicks. RTS seemed right on the ball. Solid debut

. Mini has to be shown the door, he is passed NRL standard now, but still capable of earning a good quid overseas, so tap him on the shoulder, and say, your gone now, so he has time to get another contract overseas, it was farcial in the first place that he was offered another contract.

RTS, while still very raw, will be a great player for the club, IF we can retain him, that is the big question, only time will tell that. Moga is coming along, still some things he needs to work on, but has another 5 games to gain valuable experience for next season.
