  • Most Frustrating Loss

For me, last night was honestly one of the most frustrating losses ive seen in the since 2009. Yeah, theres been that Souths game and Dragons games, but for both those games we put in 100%. Played the best we have all season. Tonight, there were a couple of reasons why.

    - We nearly won the penalty count, up 4-1 and lossed it in the end.
    - Stupid penalties from JWH and MK blew the game (that we had in our grasp) away. Also, backchatting stuffed us up alot.
    - We had all the possesion for the first 30 minutes and only managed to score two tries.
    - Our goal-line defence was next to woeful.
    - We were up 10-0 after 30 minutes, and they won the next 50 minutes (36-6)
    - Just realised that if we can't beat Penrith and Gold Coast, we can't beat anyone, incliudong Parra, who we have AWAY in a fortnight.
    - Also realised that for the past 3 years, theyve been saying that "we are a young side, we will eventually stop giving away too many penalties". But it hasnt stopped at all.

Is it a coincidence that the game JWH doesnt play, we only give away 1 penalty the whole game?

We played crap in the second half and the last ten minutes of the first half. They were the better team in that 50 minute period. The penalties kept going against us (main culprits were JWH and MK) and whenever we had a good chance, someone would drop the ball. I don't want to think about it, but the way we are playing, we are going to get the wooden spoon. A team that was looking so good in the first 6 matches of the year.

We won 4 of our first 6 matches, and since then, have won 2 from 13. 5 points from a possible 26. Woeful.
