adolf, willie has been our best player over the last 4-5 weeks. just like (with the exception of maybe last week) our effort has improved, willie's form and effort hasw improved. coincidence? i think not.

Mason was superb tonight. He really looks confident again and I think his knee is pulling up better than before. Was running hard, sidestepped when needed and was constantly a handful for the Knights. Wonderful performance from the big man.

I dont blame it all on Wilhelm, but i refuse to pat him on the back for 1 decent game after our seasons over.
We paid him a lot of money and let some good players go to get him here and anyone who thinks he has been good for this club or that he proved a point tonight is sadly deluded.

The people that are being hard on Mason need to remember that it takes quite a while to come back from a knee reconstruction and to really trust your body. The lack of confidence one has in the body leads to a lack of confidence in the mind which leads to poor on-field performances. So, give him a break, the Roosters have a young side and an old head is needed for balance with Fitzgibbon inexplicably being released.

I tend to agree He is playing for another contract wherever that may be.Fortunately for Willie this is coming at a time where his knee is coming right again.Mind you he is contracted to us next season and if he displays this form for the remainder of the year. I would safely say he will be going nowhere at seasons end and be lining up next year in the red white and blue of the Sydney Roosters.

Do you think that the people that may be looking to sign him would only look at a few weeks performance or the performance over the last few years? If you are forking out a heap of money, you would think that you would have enough brains to not just look at this week and the next few weeks.
