Its basically a matter of deciding whether oldfield/tagive is a better player than any of the aforementioned. The other advantage of leilua at centre is that with SBW transitioning back from union, leilua's extra big body would be beneficial outside him as they could swap around in attack. not a big deal either way though imo.
Gee, i hope i don't jinx us but we've got some depth in our forwards. What about Takairangi?

Leilua is being played out of his posisition which is lock forward thats the posisition that he played for the junior kangaroos in hes a lock.Smith should move him to lock,Moga to center,Sheck to fullback,Henery to the other wing and move jwh to the second row which is his prefered posisition.Bring Evans up to see how he goes and Seluini should be our starting hooker imo.Theres got to be changes we are getting flogged week after week the seasons over for us so its all about next year for us so why not try a few things with a view to next year.Whats the worst thing that can happen? We lose another game?

Cannot disagree with you at all Kakaruk.
Sadly, the only way Mini will be dislodged from his coveted fback position is thru injury. Same with Banasta. It's so bleeding obvious his heart isn't in it

              Literally.

Hospital passes that enable him to check in for the whole of 2013 season.

I think your reading too much into it. I watched it as well, dont think he made any direct references to sydney.

                    I'm hearing Parramatta.

Doesn't want a bar of us.

I agree if he go's anywhere he will hook up with Ricky.

Ricky has got Hopate & Lussick so far, I can see Bird going there & probably Tamou & maybe Farah, all his NSW boys.

I wouldnt be so disappointed. I see Kane Evans as a very very similar player to Tamou and his performances in the 20s compared to those of Evans over the last 2 years are dwarfed by those of Evans and Tamou was hardly a poor performer in the 20s. For team balance, there is more merit in us picking up someone like tolman who would give us not only a fair bit of experience (around 100 fg games at 24 odd years of age) but also some balance in our pack considering the robust, impact type prop role is quite well covered with the likes of JWH, Evans, Masoe & Tasi. considering the dogs are also trying to offload tolman to alleviate cap pressure & he is still under contract there for another year or 2, we would be unlikely to be paying his full salary and therefore be able to pick him up for reasonable value

We don't need to spend any big money on forwards. Our forwards are good enough but they need to mature and understand their role in the team. JWH needs to play 60-70 minutes a match. Masoe 15min a half for short impact. Tasi and kennedy interchanging between each other for 30-40 minutes each.Hopefully Evans and Napa end up making their debuts sooner rather than later.

I would rather save the money and spend it on a good dummy half or Halfback if Pearce Pearces off.
                          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Is that rumour talk is that confirmed?

I have only ever heard that here on the chookpen, I have never heard on any sports programme or read anywhere that the Dogs are trying to offload him.

It was mentioned in the press early in the season but they were also suppose to be releasing a few other players that have since re-signed.. I would not be surprised if they find some spare cash lying somewhere to keep him.

I just think if the Dogs were releasing him you would here continuous linkings of him to Parra Cronulla St George or us but you here nothing. I tend to agree with your last line.
