Ryles and Myles both leaving at once was not smart by the Roosters. Losing one was okay, but losing both meant losing our two best grafting forwards.

Both Myles and Ryles had the ability to fill that hard-working props role that compliments the size and impact of guys like MK, FPN, Tasi, Mose and JWH. Cordner has been a revelation, and Arona is probably one of the better spare-part players we have had since the days of Chad Robinson. Taka and FPN should be fighting for one spot, in that offensive offloading role.

Tolman would be adequate, but one year too late. This year is lost.

Go on, I was tossing up between Becker or Gordon Ramsay.

He's a dirty stats who're but is exactly the forward we are missing. Will cost far less than Tamou due to no huge bidding war, and will still make you 150m+, 25 tackles per game all with a minimum of fuss. We get Tamou then we will surely lose some of the Evans, Cordner's, RTS's and Tasi's of the world.

The difference between Tamou and Tolman is that Tamou breaks the advantage line almost every hit up which allows the team to gain attacking momentum, Tolman does not.. I would like to see both tbh as Tolman could take Myle's old workhorse role without the off field drama.. I would cop losing Tasi to get Tamou. I don't see why we would need to lose any other promising players.. Remember Tamou would be a 2014 purchase and it is unlikely SBW would be around then so that is $800K freed up, others like FPN could be moved on. Look at teams like the Bulldogs rosters and tell me we could not accomodate Tamou and Tolman for 2014.
