No Nick Politis, no Sydney Roosters. Simple as that. I know for sure that Nick does not involve himself in matters that are meant for the coach. He goes to the games as a fan like the rest of us and in my opinion he is not someone who we should be looking at replacing. He hires and fires coaches and makes them responsible for the teams performance. The way it should be. It's ironic that we are giving him grief about not moving faster with Smith because in the past Nick has been pretty ruthless with some of his coaches.
Politis got the right man for the time and Smith delivered with a great first season. Things have changed but Politis is not the man we need to be replaced. That would be a disaster for this club.

The Roosters should sign there biggest ever signing from the Dogs, Todd Greenberg.

In regards to the board, they would all be in it for there own benifit. Politis will be around till he dies IMO, & while ever he is stupid enough to keep mouring up to 3 mill a year of his own money into the club he will remain.

            Bansai,

            I feel like its millennium.
I guess I've crossed when you have crissed.

            Insight and information is repulsive.
            The club is a shambles.
Us the supporters, can make a difference but we will have to unite

Politis single handedly turned this club around in the mid 90's post Ron Jones era without him we would've been turfed out of the league everyone is entitled to their opinions but I trust Nick to turn it around he loves this club and Pumps his own $ in without a return on his investment tell me how many people could do that.

Lets face it. What has Nick actually contributed to teh club? Money. A hell of a lot of it. And I believe thats all he has. Which is a lot.

                      But....

The culture is rotten. And we will keep failing which makes all that money he keeps spending a bad bad investment and a complete waste.

                        That's the key point.

and now he is the "Ron Jones" himself and must go

Whatever he has contributed to the club is outweighed by his inability to function as a chairman should and to allow those with the required football expertise to do the job they are employed to do. The fact that the Football Club operates as a closed shop should tell everyone all they need to know

                              zero, because he won't

That's Politis' biggest failing right there - keep throwing high priced signings at the joint and everything will turn around
