It's debatable whether there's any actual advantage over the current model though.

That's the sort of comment that leaves me bewildered.

      You have a dictatorship.

In my mind it a dictatorship based on benevolence.

I love Nick, he loves the club.
But let's not dance around the autonomy.

The oppressed masses know no better.
They accept the lack of power.

I like some others are staging our version of Tianamon square.
I know I'm getting steam rolled by a tank.
      Futility is my specialty.
      barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

        Who cares?

He is just the chairman o our board. Who that is should not have any effect whatsoever in the club's future. Certainly the chairman of the bulldogs, Broncos, manly, Souths and various other actual successul clubs don't have much influence. hell I doubt anyone could even name them.

Question for you Politis lovers... If Nick is such a "great" business man, why exactly after all these years running the club does he still have to just tip in cash to apparently keep it afloat (like you all claim he does). If he were actually running the club well, it would be financially strong, not a bloody basket case that can't make a dollar.

            Two things.

            1. Broncos - Paul White
2, Manly - David Perry (had to look it up)
            3. Souths - Jabba the Hutt (Richo)
            4. Dogs - Todd Greenburg

            2. We used to be a financial stronghold, when Mr. Strong was in charge. Now we have Spivs and slick smartarses.

They are the CEOs mate. Our CEO is Steve Noyce.

I'm talking about the chairman of their respective boards. Ours is Nick Politis. Everyone in rugby league knows who he is. No one knows the chairman of the other clubs (and nor should they).
