As per usual, Smith is doing a great job, will definately be here next year, the players all love him, he has the club doing well. Thats it in a nutshell, so we can all relax now, everything is rosey in the camp, not a thing to worry about. God help us.
I am making room in the kitchen for another spoon.
Happy days!
It's easy to ask all members too stay strong. However it doesn't seem as if Noyce and Co listen to the members at all. So Smith will be here next year!!! Please not another year of disjointed and miserable performances. As for this year NO SPOON PLEASE.
Say what yout want about the players. You may be spot on, you may be wrong.
However it is a coaches job to create a winning environment. If he cant, well then he isnt much of a coach. If there is a problem with a player, as a coach he has plenty of options ie drop them, let them look elsewhere. Brian hasnt done that. Whether it is because of ignorance, stubborness or ther fact that the game has passed him can be debated. FFS he played Anasta the entire season. Even after some mind numbing performances.
I dont buy the excuse that he has no power. If he wanted to drop Braith, he could have. If he wanted to send Mini to France, he could have.
If he cant keep the squad winning or at least under control, then we need to find someone who can.
Look at Bellamy, his players would bleed for him. Same with Hasler. If someone doesnt buy into the system, they get shipped out.
Honestly, have you heard any of our players come out and publically say that they want to win to ease the pressure off Smith?
Amazing that a fat-headed ranger who can barely string a sentence together brings out the same smug shite every week on this show.
I am fast going off the Game Plan - the move to Ten has clearly come with some changes - not for the better in my opinion.
Reminds me a bit of when D.Weidler was brought in to the Footy Show to get more involved, lasted about half a season I think, on the flip side Erin Molan is starting to grow on me, seems to be able to have a bit of a laugh at herself too, Ritchie & Weidler take themselves tooooo seriously!
