Personally I have no issues whatsoever with Shek on the wing for next season. Some of you here forget he has played the game for less than one year 20 games of Rugby League in his life. Yet most here are calling for him to be put in straight into a posiition which is one of the most testing postions on the field. I am not saying he isnt up to it. But another season on the wing will do him no harm at all Mini also spent his 1st two seasons on the wing which didnt do his development any harm

It's a fair point the difference is that we don't have a quality fullback like Phillips there now.

On the whole Mini thing us guys aren't saying he wasn't a great player or isn't trying his best. He just doesn't have what it takes to play fullback at a high level, he is past it. I mean hand on heart is he better than Bowen, Hoffman, Dugan, Zillman, Boyd, Locke, Slater, Gordon, Gardner, Hayne, Barba, Inglis, Nightingale, Morris or Stewart? Be honest now. I would take any of those over Mini.

Especially in the modern game the fullback is the guy that all plays are set around and we have one of the least effective. We saw a small glimpse what a player like RTS can do. I'm not saying he is star yet but if he doesn't play on Friday we don't win.

There are many reasons we are where we are, but you just keep telling yourself it's all because of Mini.

I would as well considering Mini is costing us next to nothing with his allowance.Any one of those mentioned would cost our cap well in excess of $400k.
The club has got it right in keeping him while we bring Sheck along...

LOL, Nightingale & Morris aren't even fullbacks. Dugan, he's usually out injured for half the season. Boyd is so overrated its not funny & is a sook as well. Zillman while solid is hardly a world beater & Bowen is almost as old as Mini.

Nightingale and Morris have shared fullback for the Dragons this season, both quality players.

Boyd is a current Qld and Aussie rep.

They are all better than Mini.

Anyway as I said hand on heart look at that list and tell me who you wouldn't take.
