Made a couple mistakes but otherwise had a great night. The try he setup where he attracted three defenders from dummy half was a beauty.

Mini had a good night in a winning team.
Unfortunately his days at 1 are numbered if the team is to make a real go of it.
Let's face it, if Easts are to be a real premiership threat in the next 2-3 years there can be NO weak links.
Mini is now at that weak link stage imo.

I love the guy & respect him immensely for what he has done for us over the years but he needs to realise his time is over.

If it was only one game we were talking about then your post would have at least some validity, but when he's been terrible for all bar 2 games this year I believe critisism is justified.

Mini played well with the ball in hand last night..

But there were still some very frustrating points in his game. Case in point: letting the easiest 40/20 you could think of roll past him. He didn't even know it was a 40/20

ok mini your stats were good last night, but you very nearly gave the game to the merge mucking around and droppingtb it ingoal, not to mention your misread of a 40/20 in the first few minutes! ok for a change you did 2 try assists at other times you would have hogged it yourself to go for the glory try? you saved a great bomb on our line, but isnt that your job in that position?
