This by all accounts has been a wake up call for young todd and you will be suprised how a dose of the real world will change a person.
Some 'chookpensters', based purely on their age won't possibly be able to fully understand the importance of this statement, and the impact 'big' changes can have on a person.

I've worked for 23 yrs, house, mortgage, kids etc. Along came the Global Financial Cockup, and I was a casualty, ie a 'big' change.

I can guarantee every 'chookpensters' that 'big' changes can have big impacts on peoples perspectives of themselves and 'their world'.

Let's all just hope that young Todd, has responded positively to the 'big' changes in his world of the last 2 yrs, irrespective of whether he plays for the chooks or not.

Yes you can, BUT if Jones comes on to add spark out wide, then Morbs can shift into the forwards and play a Conn-style role. You could even consider starting Jones at centre with Morbs on the bench, but I wouldn't be too confident with Graham/Williamson and Jones defending our fringes in the early exchanges.

Jones did a great job coming on for Morbs early this season, with Morbs shifting to the middle to add mobility and spark, while Jones creates havoc out wide putting the wingers into space.

Hahaha Go Fittler.... I bet he knew he would piss of the club if he released that info.

And Mini in that video looked soo good. The way he runs and the way he crashes into players looked like one of the premium wingers in the game he really understands footy.

You mean play completely one dimensional and end up on the Most over Rated player's list?

And don't write off Jones and Anasta at 5/8, I'd be surprised if the Todd the drunk lasts the offseason without incident and the NRL will have no problem in deregistering him or giving him a lengthy suspension whether the Roosters like it or not if he steps one foot out of line.

He's one player they don't have a lot of tolerance for, and with good reason.

**** of Freddy. We made you a billionaire. And you act like a right C. Loved you to bits as a player, but youre proving to be a big baby off the field.

bit the question is, have we heard anything about carney in the past year and a half???

from all reports, Todd has had to work and earn money like an everyday person, every day he has been face to face with people in a small country town.

People in small country towns know everything about each other so you can imagine the spotlight he would have walked into.

This kid has had to EARN the trust and respect of his employers, customers and locals and by all accounts he has.

This by all accounts has been a wake up call for young todd and you will be suprised how a dose of the real world will change a person.
Mario, it hasn't been a year and a half, it's about this time last year, just when Canberra were making a charge to the finals that the bloke decided that going out on the drink yet again was more important to him than helping Canberra end the season on a high note.

And yes, we have heard of him. He's managed to get himself banned from Goulburn AFTER being de-registered for yet another drunken incident.

The fact is he could have stayed at Canberra if he was prepared to put himself on a total booze ban. The bloke refused to do so. At least he admits he doesn't have the willpower and self discipline to abstain from the grog.

So unless he's totally changed his attitude, he still will not agree to a total booze ban.

Which means he's a ticking timebomb, coming to a club with a drinking culture as it is and right smack in the centre of 'pubs central'. Question is, how long will it take him to detonate??

If he's prepared to commit to a booze ban, and there's a clause in his contract that he's punted if he falls off the wagon, then sure sign him up.

Otherwise, he'll just do the dirty on the Roosters, just as he did Canberra.

No, I meant that he would play the role that we hope Conn would play, aka coming on and playing as a roving forward.

                        One of your best Melon.

We may agree on some things - but we definitely agree on this.

The bloke needs to grow up and cut himself from Uncle Nick's heart and purse strings.

I still don't know how I feel about Carney. I do agree with a lot of what NC is saying; can he be trusted in Bondi?

Mas, I rate Todd Carney high as a big game player that will fire on the big days but.........you know the rest

                                That sums it up perfectly.

He will add huge dimension to our attacking options working with JJ. Hopefully Anasta will stay and just float around and choose his moments. Add Friend to those three and we have a stack of kicking options too.

But I know every morning I will turn on Fox Sports news and hold my breath.
