Call me a pessimist, but I have little faith that Carney will stay off the drink and out of the headlines in the big smoke of Sydney.

And the reality is signing Carney is a huge risk, and one that could blow up in the Roosters faces in a short space of time.
I admit that the main reason I am anti-Carney is that don't want another year of our Club being in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
And I don't trust Carney as far as I could kick him, which wouldn't be far.

The mail on Todd is that he is on the wagon, and has been for a good while. He is a changed man - working behind the bar at the local has been part of his therapy. he works for Mission Beat on his nights off and attends church every Sunday. He is a work in progress - This is what he will bring to the Roosters. Not only will we have a great player, we will have a role model for our club. What a bargain!!

Do not know how true this is but i would not be suprised. Maybe not a player Brian Smith wanted next year?

The Cocks don't sign the guys who the coach wants... the board/selectors do all the signing. I sorta wish it was like the Socceroos where Aussie Pim basically said "these are the boys I want... they are going to be the squad" I sorta wish the coach had more of a say.

But don't you think this will change when Brian Smith comes? or it would be pointless getting him.
