Moa will go well. Improved massively whilst playing in England and does more minutes than you might think for a big bloke. His defence around the ruck might need a little off-season work for NRL standards but the rest of his game will go just fine. Doubt he's getting paid a fortune so will be more than value for money.

Wow, what quality players we are attracting to play for us these days. The way we're going, they'll all be playing in loin cloths.

Well, those people would never fit in here then would they? Fancy that, fans being gracious and respectful towards a player leaving, and wishing him well too.

I can't believe anyone would not rate Conn in 2010 form.

I reckon he was close to first picked: error free, tough, offloads, no-nonsense. If only he was still running around for us.

                Agreed.

                He's just stirring shit.

                The Conn-man was a BEAST!

I saw him at Coogee when I was on my way to have breakfast with Horrie Hastings (not the real Horrie, my good friend on here ) the day of the Women in League Round. It's a shame such a horrible injury finished his career like that.

It's a pity there wasn't more fanfare upon his exit. He kinda faded into the dark and that was that. A mere footnote in a dim period of Easts history.

I'm glad it was you that ran into him and not my Mrs, she would have jumped him in the middle of Coogee.

                        Dim?

He did play in a grand final in his only full year with us.

I doubt he'd look back upon it as dim.

I'm not that kind of girl Greeds but I did stand and admire him in the sunshine. He looked healthy though and that is the main thing. I still wish he was playing with us though.

Conn provided great value for us. Can't believe some of the comments on here downgrading him
