How would SBW appear if he went to another club (or to no NRL club at all) after publicly saying that he was returning to the game to "honour a promise" he made (i.e. to Politis)? Rupert's monkeys are just trying to sell a few more papers by getting their bogan readership excited that their clubs might be in the running.
(The only other team that could afford SBW would be Canterbury... because they can afford ANYONE they like.)

Time for a reality check, if it's not the Roosters he'll be heading back to the Chiefs.

SBW during his days in NRL was one of the biggest mobile players in the game at 105kg, 5 years ago, his size and skill was very rare in his day which made him a destructive runner and fearsome defender but these days more than half of the starting team including backs are big mobile units that can match SBW in size and strength. However, SBW should still have his skill and football smarts to separate him from his peers, I hope.

I do not know the exact figures but i was told he was going to have to take a pay cut of 300k a season, the bloke had investments he owed money on, expecting to be paid.
The dogs did a great job of making him the villian.
MUch like Mason, most his time at the dogs was being the scapegoat for talented yet brain dead young footballers, who ended up at your beloved cowboys.
