I would have loved to keep Hannant, and if anyone can correct me, please do, but I believe we let go of Hannant because he has attitude problems?

I don't Ben ever had attitude problems. The one with the attitude problem was Ricky Stuart who didn't believe Ben was a priority signing and then when Ben got an opportunity with the Broncs dumped him from not only first grade but also the Jets as well.

Ben's family were in Bris and you can't blame the kid for taking the chance to go home, espec when the Roosters were slow to offer him anything.

Probably cost the Jets a GF win in 2005. Ben was heartbroken, he just wanted to end the season playing footy with the mates he'd made in Sydney and Ricky's ego denied him that.
