For taking Sam Perrett and thereby forcing Smith to give Daniel Tupou a go. He looked liked Israel Folau out there today.
Thank u bulldogs.
I used to defend Perrett but after his performance on Friday & then watching our wingers todays, i have to agree with this.
Me too. Sam had some really good games and his obvious strength was dummy half running. But that's all he was ever going to be. It was like we were prepared to settle for mediocrity. I know its early days but this Tupou seems to have the package and plenty of upside. Our backline will be huge.
I was at the game today and was siting right in line with tupou's first try.
The only other time I have seen a replica of that try was in origin a few years ago when Izzy took a specky. If we got this kid in return for Cheyse Blair, then Parra today look really stupid. This kids got it all. Pace, size and awareness under the highball. A definite keeper.
Sammy who????
