  • James Maloney dropped for this weekend

Probably played his last game for the Bros. Named as 18th man as Iro also dropped Johnson to the Vulcans.

Wonder if they'd release him now and we could farewell Braith at Henson Park instead.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
    Easts to win

What an awful thing to do to our departing captain!

    Do it.

I'm calling he's on the next plane to Sydney and a nice high class taxi to Bondi Junction by the end of the weekend.

How petty is that. The bloke has always put in each and every week, and has played the past few matches when he probably shouldn't have after that knee injury. He deserves a decent send off.

I suppose their lazy forwards and injury prone wingers have retained their positions.

Oh well, if he doesn't play he can't get injured.

They should drop em all the way they are playing.

I tipped them last week to beat the Dragons given they had dumped a coach, but they displayed a truly heartless effort for 80 mins, Maloney included. It looks to me like he can't wait to get out of there.

          Chook.

And that is the best outcome of all.

The Jets have the bye so Braith could just train down at Henson with the boys. Now that would be a send off to remember....

Poor form by Iro to drop him in his last game, the kid did the right thing and honoured his last year without any dramas, and he gets shafted for his last game.
                Lame!

Who wouldn't want to leave Auckland?

                  Bad Juju over there.

Good, he won't get hurt in a nothing game.

I remember saying that just before Ivan Cleary dislocated his hip back during a 1999 trial.

                        This is irrelevant.
Go talk about it on the Warriors forum.

maloney hasnt laid on a try or a linebreak for over a month now. While Im happy with his signing, until I see him in RWB playing in the team, I will continue to be tentative about how this is going to turn out... He certainly wont be the saviour some on here are searching for but he will at least be better than anasta and give us another directional outlet which will help pearce a lot much like carney did

Roz, based on a very (inexperienced but) talented three quarter line and some creative forwards, I don't believe that we need a Benji or Carney style 5/8. Maloney won't be the saviour but I reckon he will make a real difference.
