Naturally Fitzy got players player, and in his interview he was asked about how he looked like a 19 year old running around out there......."I sure dont feel like one" he says.....

The look on is face as the fitzy chant goes up is priceless.....

A bigger gentleman or more important player wedo not have...

Like you said we are going to miss not terribly....

I hate to say it as the guy's a legend, but why did he kick the penalty from right in front rather than taking a tap? I reckon that's where the game turned...

Tigers then did a 40/20 straight away and scored a try... we needed a converted try to put us in front, not a kick to make us even with them.

Our conversions also let us down... 8 points at 1/2 time could have been 12 if we were better at converting. A try off that tap (which should have happened rather than a kick from point blank) would have secured the game for us...

I have said before that the only players who can match Fitzy's huge workrate in defense and attack are blokes like Waterhouse, Douglas, etc...but none of them bleed red, white and blue the way Fitzy did. 10 years of heroics, well done!

The penalty kick in front was the right decision. How could the tigers get a 40/20 straight away; we got the ball back from the kick off. We also had an opportunity when Mini also bombed a try instead of passing it to Jones. We had 34% of the ball in the second half. That disallowed try cost us the game. The refs took it in their own hands after that to make sure the tigers won. Badger looks like he should be in the circus with a big red nose on. What a dumbarse that bloke is.

20/20 hindsight sir gamble; something Fitzy does not possess amongst his vast array of positive qualities.
How the Roosters have let this champion player and good bloke go whilst he is still the team's best player both baffles and annoys me. In fact it REALLY REALLY ANNOYS ME.

That's another way to look at it Hawkeye and fair enough too because for such a champion to leave the club he has bled for with his final memento being a wooden spoon, well that is a travesty. Booo to the players and staff that have let this travesty transpire.

I am so gutted for Fitzy but also happy for him that he gets to go to England and get some semi-retirement money. Playing in England he will get to be the wide running backrower he deserves to be and will score a bunch of tries, make a bunch of money and not have to carry a bunch of scumbag bludgers getting paid more than him!!!
