I hate that we aren't in the finals

I cannot stand any team in the top eight but I'm visiting my Souths friends next weekend so I am going to be a polite house guest and be supportive. Any Sydney team will do me except the Sharks. They are bigger spinsters than me.

And if the Rorting Storm didn't exist, Hindy and Burty may have won a legit grand final.

I'm really disappointed our season is ending this Saturday night, for the second year in a row no finals for us is a pretty crappy result, as you would probably know I'm no Smith hater, but geez I wish he'd have dropped Anasta half way through the season, when we still had a chance of making it, really would have liked to see how Morts or Killer or even Taka would have gone after a settling in period in the No.6, just someone who would've taken the pressure off Pearcey having to do it all. Oh well, no point crying over spilt beer, bring on 2013 & James Maloney, hope the Aussie cricket team lifts it's game too, otherwise it's going to be a very long summer

Its a low feeling when your team is not finals bound and i have lost interest in the footy as a result. If souths make the GF think i will go overseas for the week.

I went overseas the day after the 2007 grand final and the sight of the ugly purple Rorting Storm splashed over the papers at the airport was enough to make me flee the country.

I hate the fact that two teams will be in the 8 with a 12wins 12 losses record, to me that does not justify playing finals footy.

Of course we don't deserve to be there, that wasn't where I was coming from. At the start of the season (actually around about December/January every year), everyone is full of hope of what the coming season will hold, for me playing Finals is a minimum requirement, let's face it if you only have to win half your games, it really shouldn't be that big an ask, especially for a club like Easts, so to finally realise we won't be going any further is like knowing the biggest party of the year is on but you're not invited, it sucks & I will be disconsolate if this trend continues next year.

I hate all the top 8 teams and it's not even jealousy. I can't stand them Costanza! I'm in a quandry now.
