The Frolf I made reference to is Seinfeld related.
Frolf = Frisbee/Golf the game that Costanza wanted to learn to play during his summer break.
I'm sorry, it's been a long year. And a long time since I watched Seinfeld.

Seinfeld was balls on chin...like most of our players in 2012.

We don't need a big off season, we need a massive off season. In fact we have so many issues one off season may not be enough.

      Chook.

        Chook,
Smith references what can be achieved through a big offseason at the Bulldogs during the press conference.
WTF did Easts not have a big offseason, Brian? What happened to our offseason that was different to the Dogs?

        Some serious changes needed here...

I was thinking that too.. He is basically admitting he screwed it up last off season.. To be honest when I heard Mitchell Pearce interviewed on Fox before the season began and asked if fitness training was a big priority and he responded that they didn't do much fitness work but focusses on ad lib football I practically fell out of the chair..

Agreed Cockadoodledoo. Our fitness let us down poorly this year. Perhaps this is why our substitutions were so predictable or perhaps Smith had NFI. We need to be a fit and strong team next year, we need to have remedial coaching to develop our deficiencies. Let's hope JT gets the gig, once his current coaching commitments are over.

Jake Friend to spend the summer learning to pass quickly off the ground and improve his speed between the ears. Decision making will actually be more difficult for him next year as he will actually have playmaking options.

The halves of Pearce and Maloney will certainly be effective really hyped up for next season.

SKD should have an off season learning how to tackle. Start him off against an under 14's team, better still, make that an under 12's team. Don't want him to hurt himself too much.

Learn to tackle and put your body on the line, and try not to look so scared when doing so.

I have a conspiracy theory. Notice when Brian is talking about how good the Bulldogs have gotten and talked about them getting minor premiers in every grade Braiths just looking down like 'why the f*ck did I leave'

                            A Big Offseason.

The offseason is the best on the Rooster forums for complete crap.

I cant wait till we get those poster who start posting how such & such is training the house down or how such & such has great footwork (side stepping orange hats) or how such & such is looking so sharp or how such & such has improved his defence (tackling a tackling bag).

Then we will have the threads that start with what the team should be for Rd 1 & how someones sisters boyfriends cousins neigbours dog walker heard some bloke blind at the pub mention the Roosters are signiing such & such.

So much to look forward too.
