  • TRENT ROBINSON is the man we should target.

My first preference is Bellamy, but if we cant get him here then we need to get Trent Robinson down.

If we can get either of them for 2014 would work, all we do is give JT the head coaching position for 2013 and give him the assistant coach role from 2014.

JT would learn a lot from someone like Bellamy. But if we cant get Bellamy down next year preferably or in 2014, then get Trent Robinson back to Bondi ASAP.

I share your belief Cock. the way J.T. left Souths, most clubs would not be keen to offer him a coaching position. If I were T aylor I'd jump at the chance of a one year deal with the complement of players the club will have next year and what if he were to take out the premiership, would we still sign Bellamy ? probably not.

No, they just got lucky that Manly and Hasler fell out of love with each other, had that not happened Dymock would have been their coach this year, so I guess that makes Todd Greenburg as big a goose as Politis in your eyes

          Aramis,
I feel JT has grown up. He is ready now to step up again.

Bellamy will be announcing his situation for 2014 by the end of this year so if he is coming here it won't make a difference what Taylor achieves.

            • If the DW report of Smith on the outer is true then Smith should pull the plug, at least to save face. To me Bellamy is a long shot, doubt he'd go to the Kiwis cause he has family here in Oz.

So if Bellamy doesnt come then they need a back up. JT, Robinson, Mick Potter ? Except for JT are they available and do any of them want the gig ?
Forget Sheens that wont happen and nor should it.

              • Nathan Brown maybe? Did a pretty good job in difficult circumstances when he took ober the Dragons at such a young age. Has now been in the UK for the past 4 years where has been pretty successful, would be good mates with Fitzy no doubt.

                • Browny has taken some ordinary rosters over there and made them competitive. Much like Freddy, was thrown in the coaches box to early. Is he hard enough to take no shit from the board or the players, that's the question. For me that is the one quality we need in our next coach.

                  • Maybe if hasler wins the comp with the Dogs he might jump ship again?????

                    • Jason Taylor deserves another go somewhere but if he is coming in as a caretaker coach it's a weird situation. Our biggest signing since Fittler, who is only signing for one year, is going to play under an interim coach. Not ideal and it will not do much to silence all the knockers who tell me on a regular basis that our club is dysfunctional. I think in a way it's a good problem to have, considering the year we have had, but it would be refreshing if the club could create some stability. The irony is that we are about to sack the coach who was brought in for that purpose.

                      • If we miss out on Bellyache we will go for Henry

Your kidding Nathan Brown hes a disciple of Smithy and had a near rep level roster to work with at the Dragqueens next suggestion ?
