I am glad that he is gone.
However, on the positive side, which is unlike me, the guy did get us to the 2010 GF and was probably out-coached by Bennett at half-time when we had a sniff of holding up the Amco Cup or whatever its called.
Also, he seemed like a genuinely good guy of the game - always articulate, measured, looking for positives, albeit at times misguided. But as we all know being a good guy in the coaching gig is probably a liability.
Anyway, all the best to a bloke who did his best for Easts.

i know robinson is a favourite here on the forum... but what has he actually achieved and what are his credentials?

catalans finished 6th last year and are coming 4th atm...
i know people said that he was well liked in 2010 but there were plenty of other factors that influenced our success that year..

anyone care to elaborate on his hype?

6th then 4th is pretty good when you consider they picked up the wooden spoon in 2009.

Hasn't Dean Pay just signed with Parra as assistant to Mr Cranky Pants? He may have a get out clause if he gets the head coach gig but I doubt he'll swap for anything less.

it worries me that one of the initial rumours was an Elliot/J.T team for 2013, Elliot should be no-where near our club going forward.
