Nah not that. The SBW thing was on the cards well before then.
Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

No happy with this choice. History shows that results in the English league do not equate to results in the NRL.
We won't be able to attract new players with him either.
To hear that the players will be happy is not what I want to hear. Does this mean that if they are not happy they will not perform? They are meant to be professional footballers.
I think Robinson is too young. He's the new Steve Price.
In saying all this, I hope I am very very wrong!
And of course....best of luck to the guy.

Don't hold out on us. It doesn't look as good if you just say you KNEW it was coming when it happens.

The Catalans have just inherited the entire Sydney Roosters fanbase for the remainder of their campaign. I will genuinely have more interest in their remaining games than some of the remaining games here.

Of course, for Trent to be a successsful coach in the NRL [shoudn't it now be the ARL?], the club needs to line up the ARL Commission and demand it changes for the better what's passed for refereeing up until now...in particular the refereeing of our games!

He might be the next Michael Maguire coach of the year. He was an instrumental part of the success of 2010 and...............hes got te support of his players but still I wouldve preferred Dymock. Hopefully Robinson is an innovator though. Those are the best caoches e.g. Hasler, Bellamy Maguire types. Id prefer them over Bennett and im serious bout that. Do you guys know Bellyache works with the AFL to see what areas he can improve in the Storm hopefully Robbo is like that and implements sports science in our team

Not many big names there. Could be a good sign.

oh, right! Figured it might have been something different with all the secrecy.

There are people here who credit our 2010 season (and grand final appearance) to Trent, not just Carney.

Let's be honest, he can't be any worse than Smith, can he?

He's not listed there (injured) but Leon Pryce has been with Catalans this season.

i think i predicted the sbw thing months before it becoming known as well.

will that make it 4 out of 4?

Given our current position on the ladder, and the current playing roster associated with that position, fans should not be expecting miracles from Coach Robinson.
In his first season, in my eyes, he'd be classed as successful if we make the 8.
And reasonably successful if we almost make the 8 and finish higher up the ladder than this season..
