Very difficult to decifere thatComment of the year:

Talking to one of my friends who is a keen Tiger, it was interesting to get an outsiders view. He is adamant that the Roosters have (to his amusement) taken a step backwards. He said the Warriors were getting the better deal with Smith. I dont agree with the Smith statement but I do believe the decision creates many questions. Look at the Bulldogs, they were in a similar position last year. They had a choice between the players choice (Dymock) and the more proven candidate (Hasler).
If the players want Robinson because they feel he will get the best out of them, well then fair enough. But there is a possibility that the players know that they will be allowed to stay in certain comfort zones which will not do us any good. An assistant coach is the meat in the sandwich, he needs to have a different relationship to the players than the head coach does. Robinson needs to prove that he has made that transition in roles because he is already familiar with these players. Tricky.
No doubt there will be a question mark over our chances for next year until we start playing. I expect us to be outsiders with the bookies which is a positive for Robinson because it will ease the pressure a little.

Smith had nothing to offer.
The Warriors have gone forward only slightly because as far as I was concerned McClennan & Kearney were the only 2 coaches in the NRL that were worse than Smith so for Smith to be given the job at the Warriors it is no great feet & there was no one else.
I doubt they will make the 8 while Smith is coach

.
Since when is the opinion of a Tigers fan an objective authority when it's the roosters who've kicked their ass since time began...
Smith can go screw the Warriors as it will advantage every other team in the comp, I can see the "Beast" moving to Bondi West Auckland quick smart.
Also what about the ENORMOUS comfort zone Smith allowed by saying after EVERY LOSS the boys were playing well!!!!"Qui audet adipiscitur"
WHO DARES WINS
