Yeah, that's two weekends in a row that Cooper has been linked with us. SBW wants it to happen. Cooper will need more than one year to adjust to our game and with his recent injuries it seems a risky investment.

        What's the go with Cooper?
        I don't rate him.
        Am I missing something?

Um dont forget that Pearce was in the top 5 in try assist and line break assist this year so i dont think his creativity is a problem......imagin our descipline was good all year because that was the only difference between us being good to bad

Quade Cooper seems more and more likely for us in 2013 the longer he remains un-signed with the ARU. SBW wants to play league with Quade and Quade wants to play with SBW.

Cooper has more of a halves skill set. Handy kicking game and great footwork but not sure if we need him with Maloney coming. It would be foolish to throw truck loads of cash at him.

Cooper would make a great replacement for Mini...

Except for we would be looking for a new hooker come 2014...

While I like the idea of Pearce at hooker, surely we cant afford to have Friend and Pearce in the pack at the same time. The Bulldogs and Cowboys are telling us that if we want success we need size. They are monsters.... fit and mobile. We need more of that. James T is target number one as far as I'm concerned. We can build a great pack around him. Sign him at all costs. We all know he wants to come back anyway. Evans and Nappa will be needed next year. A solid beefing up programme this summer and they will be good to go. I have a feeling watching the Catalans that Robinson wants his forwards to be ball-players as well. With SBW and Guerra in the squad he's got the tools. Could be good.

Pearce would be off to another club in a flash come 2014 if we were to push him into hooker...

Agree, very handy. Coopers defence will need work, but there is potentially much more creativity there than we had this year. I expect SKD to improve next year. If someone gets him running straight and hard again he can reclaim his status as one of the games most damaging centres.

I'm hoping Robinson focuses on SKD'S defense in the off season this has been an ongoing problem for years as for Cooper could make a good fullback in League chiming in as a second 5/8th plus his kicking game would be a great asset and he's an accomplished goal kicker as well and I'm sure played league as a junior so ticks a lot of boxes IMO.
