Maybe, but if you look at his game you will find that it is perfectly suited to the dummy half role. My main concern with Pearce is his lack of involvement when we need him to be involved. I dont see Pearce as the type of halfback that will handle the ball every tackle and steer us down the park. No doubt he will stay at half and maybe Trent can give him more purpose. Ad-lib footy is not effective in the NRL anymore. It's good to have it in the bag when you are chasing points but a game plan should not be drawn up for that reason.

Sbw has to play lock for mine and let him roam wherever. Cordner for skipper

Cooper would be an amazing signing. His passing is so crisp, he oozes creativity and his kicking game is top notch. I also think his running game would shine in the space of rugby league. Defence is a bit crap but if you had SBW and Cordner next to him I think he would be just fine.

        6. Cooper
        7. Maloney
        9. Pearce
        13. Friend.
        I was very similar except:

        6. Cooper
        7. Maloney
        9. Pearce
        13. SBW

We'd win a hell of a lot of games with that side I think.

Complete crap. He is a great player who'll thrive with more space. Just because he plays union....

Then if what is touted happens, this should be our team.

Cooper isn't coming, enough with the fantasy football geezes.

No doubt he would make a good hooker if his heart was there, but demand in the comp would keep him at his preferred position of half at several other clubs. He would walk for sure...

Great player?? Is this the same bloke that was made to look very ordinary by the All Blacks? Inglis and co would have a field day with him.

SBW shouldn't be limited to one side. So I would go with him as a roaming lock as someone suggested already. It would free up another centre spot for BJ or Moga as well. Then Friend to the bench if we can still afford to carry him there.

On a side not, if he were to come to us surely that would mean the end of Mini in 1st grade.

By that logic the whole Wallabies squad are crap. The all blacks are something else mate.

Do you want to see us punted for breaking the cap?

Broncos will be all over Quade if he's genuinely interested in swapping codes, we are no chance.
