Your right Madrooster, we are one quality player who can play fullback short.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

    Here's looking at you, kid.

On Moga being a centre (to some) how long did Slater play wing before his move to fullback btw? And is Inglis a better centre or winger or fullback? Cause he has played all three.

Little something called transferable skills. Utility value.

Daniel T and Oldfield will also come into consideration for fullback. Both very good under the high ball, both big and fast. All the modern day credentials for a good fullback. This squad is crying out for a good coach/manager/mental engineer.
Tupou seems the steadiest of all our young backs that came through this year

In your opinion. How about waiting and seeing next season if it is value for money instead of whining like a bitch.
Because I gave your Mrs the benefit of the doubt at first and it turns out she wasn't value for money.

I don't want to make the same mistake twice!

i aint gonnna take anything you say seriously again
Different games. Would you back the All-Blacks against the kangaroos in a game of league? Not me. And the kangaroos would get smashed in a game of union. Now that the union element have taken over our game and made it's first bold step by banning the shoulder charge, a hybrid game looks likely down the track. Or a complete takeover. SBW's value has gone down since the shoulder charge ban. Ballrunners will not fear him as much. Good thing he can play a little.

youve brought this argument out again.
IMO rugby union players are better than rugby league players.
IMO, if the kangas played the all blacks in union, theyd get hammered, AND IN MY OPINION, if the kangas played the all blacks in league, the ab's would give them a run for their money.
rugby players are stronger, fitter, smarter and more resourceful.
              ill give you an example:
in league, teams often go in with four props. two start, stay on for twenty minutes, get replaced, and come back on with twenty minutes to go. that means four props each play roughly 40 minutes each.
in union, teams often go in with three props. two starts, one plays the whole game and the other comes off with around 15 minutes to go. that means one prop plays 80, one plays 65 and the other plays 15

Some more fuel for the Quade Cooper fire from Weidler.

                http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/l...908-25kxl.html

                Roosters for Quade?
FORMER Wallabies coach Eddie Jones has urged Quade Cooper to quit rugby and go and play for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. Cooper is yet to re-sign with the ARU despite having a contract with the Queensland Reds but Jones, a long-time Cooper fan, says the star Wallabies No.10 looks completely out of sorts playing in a team coached by Robbie Deans. Jones caught up with Cooper's manager, Khoder Nasser, in Tokyo last week where the pair had a long discussion about Cooper and Sonny Bill Williams. ''It's clear to me that Quade has lost all confidence playing in the current set-up and I think it's time for him to go and start something new,'' Jones said. ''Quade is a brilliant player who could succeed at anything and I think the ideal home for him would be playing fullback for the Roosters next year. I don't know what their salary cap situation is like but I think they should make room for him if they can. And this isn't an insult to Anthony Minichiello. I'm sure he would be just as comfortable playing wing for the Roosters and with someone like Cooper at the back it would give the Roosters a dynamic set-up.'' Cooper has made no secret of the fact he'd like to play in the NRL one day, however, there have been no talks with the Reds about negotiating a release from that contract.

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I read that article.

Chalk me down for Pearce at rake. I reckon it'd work.

                                What a load.

                                That game is a travesty.

The All-Blacks might rule it, but there's more talent in the NRL than in NZ rugby.

                                Are you honestly suggesting otherwise?
