We don't have a whole lot of depth in the centres, certainly not with FG experience and I reckon he'd make a good fist of being in the backrow so has some versatility to him.

Obviously has ties to the club already, played juniors with Cherro growing up.

    Bring him home I say.
    NO!

I'd think about signing this new winger for the Bulldogs, Sam Perrett. He seems to be a real gun, where did Des Hasler find him?

Dessie found Perrett at a club who have management that thought that their outside backs were the reason why they were losing.

Little did they realize it was their overweight, and overrated 5/8th that was the issue. Who would have thought? BTW it took them the entire season to fully dissect that problem and remove the issue. They had to continually test him out in the team every week.
        Comment of the year:

50 sit up and 50 push ups, should extinguish the critique from the pens arm chair warriors.

If GI can successfully play fulback. Why couldnt SKD? Ayshford would be a valualble asset.

By the way. There are crappier hookers than JF.

Because SKD makes steady eddy look coordinated.

I would take Ayshford. Quality footballer imo.

Didn't have a great year, but he's showed enough to me in the past to know he's got it. Not saying he's better than Moga, or should be there ahead of BJ...He can play any position in the backline apart from half and he would offer depth and experience to our backline.

Don't forget how young we are out there...

Lastly, I'm a sucker for local juniors so to me we should always want them playing with us provided they can cut it...and I have no doubt Ayshford cuts it.

Any club official, who's reggies are a GF chance and who's U20s went within a game of same, that spends a penny on chasing name wingers should be beaten with a rolled up RL Week utill they apologize.

A waste of (Uncle Nick's) hard earned.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
                        Easts to win

Totally agree, I think we have some outstanding prospects in our lower grades, and it's a real shame that Curtis Rona has gone to the cowboys. I think when we won the gf in 02, most of the guys had come through the lower grades, in saying that I don't think we should miss any quality players who come onto the market that can and will strengthen the team, like SBW.
