    Proud Of u 20s Players

So proud of the boys they made it this far with injuries & all, game was very simple as usual, can't understand why JT lets them play the same way with very little little changes.....& always playing sooo bloody tight, good to see some Roosters supporters at the game wish there were more on the day for the boys. The guys had a hard run home starting from the last 8 weeks & did well, tigers played better on the day & luckily they had that week off. Not blaming anyone....but the bloke in the middle of the game (with the pink shirt), we were lucky he honoured us with one win from the number of times he had ref us for 2012, could it be his inlaw is a boss on leichhardt council & tigers is a supporter, naaaahhhhh.

Who is the tall lanky back rower, he hardly ever takes a hit up, does a few tackles, but not enough cos he hangs out in the centres bludging a lot but he seems to plays plenty of minutes.

I thought he was a waste of space when I went and watched a few matches a month or 2 ago. Did he play yesterday?

You're probably thinking of Sam Bernstrom who did play y'day. He's off to Jap Rugby next year.

Yeh, just looked up that name on google. That's him! Cheers.

Did he play his usual hide next to the wing game yesterday?

Yeah you could say that. Sam tackles anything that moves however he doesn't sting them in defence nor does he run the ball like his team mate Evans.
Jap Rugby will suit Sam due to his height.

I'm much looking forward to our 2013 NYC season too. Courtesy of diligent recruiting by POS, our forward pack will have size and dominance about them i reckon. Backing up from this year will be Rhyse Martin (who i would pick as capt), Clarrie Moore, Langi, Shaq Blair, Togatasi, Noble, Asiata, Tago. Then there's two big units from Bulldogs SG Ball - Mitchell Mammary & Jokotama. Lama Tasi's bro - Tasi Tasi, Louis & Willis Meehan. Not sure about Joe Ofehengaue but he goes alright too.
Brad Deitz our Aust Schoolboys rep will be hooker.

              Hi Gman,

The forwards look good for next year but what about the backs? Aren't most of this years backs too old for NYC next year. Do you know if POS is looking to sign any backs or will we rely on the SG Ball backs stepping up like Nene Macdonald, Dallas Wells, Brendan Elliot, and Taane Milne.

Iam worried that we don't have any decent young halves in the club. Junior recruitment seems completely focused on front rowers.

Anything is better than that fat slug we had in the centres this year in forrester. Apparently that milne kid is a gun.

That right WC. Those talented guys as well as Dallas Wells at fullback & Alex Thomas (nephew of Joe) at 5/8. Towards the end of 2012 they gave a young Wests Tigers discard a go at half-back........his surname was Battese. Not sure if he's part of next years plans.
