As for being chosen to play for NZ....big deal! Their player pool is very small. He wouldn't be considered for a fifth string NSW side if he was Australian.
Why don't you go out and buy yourself a Bulldogs jersey!
Any more excuses to back up your lame argument? Not sure where you got the idea that I want to buy a Bulldogs jersey? You have a very creative imagination. If you would have read prior post, I have stated that I want the Storm to win so I am sorry for Sam. My main argument 'Sunshine(as filthy would say) is that amount of crap some are writing about Sam. Considering how many times he put his body on the line, more than most, especially when deputizing for Mini throughout his injured years. At the end of the day, he's laughing at people making such dumbarse comments whilst our juniors are somewhere lapping it up in the sun.

Sam's try scoring record is pretty impressive isn't it.
Has he ever scored more than 6 or 7 a season for us?
And I don't care what Hasler thinks of Perrett. I am able to form my own opinion.

It's disappointing how so many supporters want to bag Sam Perrett for doing nothing more than taking the best deal he could for he and his family. Which is what I suspect most of you yourselves would do in the same circumstances.

He admitted that the deal he was offered by the Roosters was not on the same planet as that offered by the Dogs. But the Dogs offer came with a condition that he came midseason.

So he and the Roosters agreed on the best long term outcome for both player and club. He gets an opportunity for the Dogs and one of our younguns got an opportunity to experience first grade in the back end of a season that will benefit them in 2013.

The end result is a win win. So why critcise Sam??

Because we live in a world where people can sometimes be jealous and nasty of those who just try and go out into the world to do their best for themselves and their families. Those who are bitter are unhappy with their own lives NC and can't be gracious and respectful of others.

I wouldn't even go that far. Who is Perrett keeping out of the side, Bryson Goodwin?

Perrett is an slightly above average first grader who (like most average first graders) has some deficiencies in his game. Good on him for his future but I am not particularly upset he has moved on.

He's a scumbag now. If you want to cheer for souffs and bulldogs players then each to their own. For me they are now past history and playing for the enemy.

Agreed. Crock used to be one of my favourite players who could do no wrong. The second he left Easts, he became the dirtiest cheap shot merchant around. Always looking for trouble or to put in a cheap shot.
As far as I was concerned he never did that when he played for us. He was just a hard and tough player.
Same with if JWH ever leaves. He'll become the same.

Just ignorance, it's not limited to the internet.

Sammy gave his all for this club when most others in his situation would've been in the hospital with their sick child, I'll never question his commitment to the club during his time here.

At the end of the day though he chose to look after his family, including his brother and as much as we all love this club and may have made a different call it's a perfectly legitimate and honorable reason. Certainly doesn't mean he doesn't love or have no loyalty to the club.

agree totally. And all those bringing up his so called lack of loyalty, you're kidding. He's entitled to do the best he can for himself, just as the club will do for itself.

I think we have good replacements for 2013 so I too am not disappointed but a little more respect from those critcs for someone who put his body on the line more than most and was a good role model for us and NZ.

Good point ROC, especially during those embarrassing dark days of 2009. We were blessed to have Sam at our club and those who can't see that have serious issues.
