Good question. He also needs to make him faster between the ears. I'm not sure he will succeed in that area

I know that your strapped into the Pearce bandwagon and in fact your probably driving the wagon, but I myself am a realist.

In 2008, I was on a trip in New Zealand staying with a family who's son used to play union here in Australia and on weekends used to rent out a granny flat at my place. It was by chance that the chooks were playing the warriors during my holiday, so I took my wife and kids to watch the game and the family we were staying with tagged along. When we were at the game, they couldn't believe how bad a halfback Mitchell Pearce was and I remember them saying something like, "there's a kid who plays No.10 in my son's team who would slaughter Pearce's kicking game".

The No.10 they were talking about is now the All Blacks no.10 and world cup champion, Aaron Cruden.I know I might seem harsh on Pearce but we cannot structure our attack around this guy, seriously. He is no Freddy. If we are to have someone who can direct a team around the park we need a true champion and someone who can pressure the opposition with their kicking game. Melbourne do it all the time.

Like I said before, I hope that Pearce proves me wrong in all facets of his game, but I do not believe that he is the champion which people are making him out to be.

and also I am 42 years young.
That doesn't explain anything, you agreed with John's assertion that the Roosters having achieved very little in 7 (actually 6) years proved that Pearce wasn't cut out to be a half. Then not even 24 hours later you said "Measuring one player based on how far his team has gone is a useless exercise."

Whilst I agree whole heartedly with your second comment you've made a total hypocrite out of yourself and in trying to justify it you've come up with some weird ass, irrelevant story.

      Are you in politics?

Sheens has left because he just refuses to coach Braif.

Apparently Freddy is in the mix for the assistant coach's job at Wests. He could try Braith at fullback and see what happens...
