What I will say about Morts is that he's found his role this season, when he was at Parra there was always this argument about whether he was a creative 6 or an traditional style 7 - for me it's clear now he's a 7 that should organise, kick and support. He needs to give up trying to being creative from a passing standpoint and give up running the ball and just simplify his game. The problem for him is we already Pearce for this and Mitchell has more upside to his game overall, he'll be playing a lot of reggies if he stays at the club for next season.

John has put Pearce at a few positions & now is moving him to the flanks...ultimately the wing & then gorn!
He may well retire premiership-less.
Especially if he goes to the tigpies.

As Ralph points out, that may be due to being held back by the standard of Reserve Grade but he hasn't been screaming for a first grade spot.
I love the fact he clearly tries hard and has never given up despite three years of reserve grade but it might be time for him to go ply his trade in England.
He looked decent in the few games I saw, though - it must be said.Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

I like Daniel but where do we hide him in defence? The problem is that when he plays FG he has a barrage of big forwards constantly running directly at him making easy metres. Not Ideal. Some NRL teams (including the two in the GF) are very skilled at isolating defenders. I dont like that comment, but it's the truth.
