  • Statistics....

According to the News Limited stats, the Roosters had:

    - less metres gained than any other team

    - the least number of line breaks of any team

    - made more handling errors than any other team

    - and conceded more penalties than any other team

Quite surprising we finished as high up as thirteenth really, isn't it?

After the performance against the eels, late in the season where sandow humiliated us, we deserved to win the spoon for sure.

And were it not for a bit of RTS brilliance against the merge, we would have been a shoe in for the utensil.

We were lucky that we managed to bring a few teams down to our sh*t level Heg, and beat them with experience. Other wise we would have finished last.

Interestingly....despite 6 out of 7 dwarves not being happy, only one was found to be grumpy!

Experience at playing at a sh*t level headless is what I meant.

My opinion (tongue in cheek comment) was an adaption of a famous saying. That being - never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Tigers game comes to mind. They (tigers) were terrible and we did our best to let them nearly bite us on the backside.
