Trent Robinson is an Australian rugby league coach for the Sydney Roosters in the Australian National Rugby League. He had previously been assistant coach at that club, and had also held assistant coach/coach positions at Toulouse Olympique, Newcastle Knights and Catalans Dragons.

A former St Gregory's student,[1] Robinson played 3 games from the bench for the Wests Tigers in 2000 & 2001. He was the first player to ever make his debut with Wests Tigers without previously playing first grade with another team. In 2002 he joined the Brian Smith-coached Parramatta Eels, playing in a solitary game.
After a playing stint with Toulouse Olympique, Robinson succeeded Justin Morgan as coach in 2005.[2] He was assistant coach with the Newcastle Knights for 3 years before seeking a release to join Smith at Sydney Roosters.[3] Robinson was the assistant coach in charge of defence in the Roosters' run to the Grand Final in 2010.[4]
At the end of the 2010 season, French-speaking Robinson took over from Kevin Walters as coach at Catalans Dragons.[5]
On 7 September 2012 it was announced that Robinson had been appointed as Head Coach of the Sydney Roosters for a three year term, starting in 2013. [6] At 35 years old, he is the youngest coach in the NRL.[7]

      2011-2012 Catalans Dragons - 59 Games - 35 Wins - 1 Draw - 23 Loss - 59% Win%

He also had the boys train yesterday according to the DT at 4pm.

I enjoyed reading that Robinson waited until the hottest part of the day yesterday to send the boys for a hitout.

            What a hard ****.

            I like it.

Noticed an article on our former captain in the paper today. He was quoted as saying he hasn't trained this hard for years as he had greater control over his own training program and workload when he was with us.

The last few pre seasons that merkin had with us was spent on the sideline overcoming injuries. No wonder he is now finding a pre season hard whilst sucking up to his new coach...

his pre-season last year involved playing and preparing for the NSW golf title which resulted in his back injury, so happy we don't have to deal with his lazy performances this year.

That's one of his greatest skills - sucking up to the coach and talking himself up through the press.

Rugby League journo preseason article. Step 1 - type in player's name, step 2 - cut and paste paragraph about never training harder.
