How's that pedantic? You've got one of the best, if not best offloader in the game and you want to nullify that by a)playing him on the left side of the field when he's a right hand carry and b) play him too wide to bring our fullback and 5/8 into the game.

His strength is drawing in defenders and then creating space outside him for others, not playing out wide and relying on others to create the space for him.

I think his best position is the right second row position, I disagree with those who want him to play at lock and give him a free roving role but at least that's justifiable and makes sense. Playing him at left centre just makes no sense at all to me and that has nothing to do with being pedantic.

Do you really think he thought about which side SBW was on and which side SKD was on? To me it just seems like you are trying to having a little dig at anything anyone says.

I assume he's/she's talking about playing SBW on the left given it's the position that has come under the most debate at to whether Moga is up to it or not. Similar to SBW, SKD's much more suited to the right side of the field, he has a very dominant right hand carry and is far more apt at stepping off his right foot... his position on the right is pretty secure.

I really don't see how debating what side of the field a player plays on is pedantic, so many backrowers & centres these days are exclusive left or right sided players... it's very relevant.

The issue with playing right handed ball carriers (like SBW & SKD) on the left is it makes it very easy for the defenders coming across to get a play at the ball, it's similar to kickers not wanting to kick across their body. On the contrary a player like Sonny on the right makes outside defenders very nervous and they often try to rush in to shut the play down which more often than not results in an overlap, he made his name at the dogs playing down the right and I don't see any reason nor evidence as to why we'd change that.

There's some merit to giving him a license to roam but I still think the majority of his play should come down the right and will because it's what comes naturally to him. If Darkone posts a side I'm sure he's/she's more than open/expecting of criticism and it certainly wasn't personal so I don't see the issue.
