Yes - its a bit silly to compare Todd to Freddy, not quite the same overall class.

That is true, and todd hasnt had a chance to coach a 1st grade nrl team and play knock-and-run in his undies yet!

Imagine if we dumped him as quick as carney or not given him a chance like you dont want to give sbw one?

when the big names are on the market, if you can make a play for them you would be crazy not to, whether they succeed for you or not.
Sorry, comparing SBW to Fittler is a stupid action. Fittler did it during the superleague war as you said so there was good reason to do it. He never ran out on his team mates, nor did the other Bullscum players who walked for better money. I will never belittle anyone who walks for a better oportunity. thats to be commended for one trying to forward themselves. Just go about the correct way and dont fvck over your mates and your profession in the process. He bitchslapped Rugby league in the face and in doing so, every league fan who pays their hard earned to watch it.

And as for Fittlers indiscretions... did he set fire to a mans crotch... piss on someone... break alcohol bans, get banned from his home town etc etc and the list goes on??? Did he perform consistantly over many many season for the Roosters? Was he respected and role modelled by those around him? did he EVER give the club a reason to punt him? Was he a cancer on the players around him?
Now go and ask yourself the same questions about Carntney. I bet you get completely opposite answers.

I guess those who dont want SBW here are very happy with the teams performances over the past 2 years.
We dont need to strengthen the team
But we can weaken our opportunities financially to strengthen it. Spending so much on one player limits our buying opportunities for others. Ever heard the statement about putting all your eggs in one basket? I see nothing but a huge scrambled mess coming from this.

Funny how the Blues player of the Origin series is now awarded the Brad Fittler Medal. That must be for drinking prowess or muffin munching is it now? Seriously, you are clutching at straws..

Im actually not trying to bag freddy, its just that he was no saint, just he was lucky enough to play in an era where social media was not anywhere near the levels it is today, also if you act like he did on a trip away to N.Q do you find that acceptable as head coach?

If it werent for him we wouldnt of had any of the success we did in the early 00's. my point was if there is a star player to grab, then you do it.

Tau Tau Moga will have to greatly improve his attitude towards the defensive side of Rugby League to ever have a chance to play for the Queensland Maroons.

I think he just needs to grow a pair!
He makes SKD look a decent defender.
I don't care how old or inexperienced he is. If he is big enough to play with the men than he has to play like a man.

I'm repulsed by what most men do when they are drunk anyway but that was not the point. You made an issue of Freddy never winning a man of the match during an Origin series. Nothing else.

He could follow the new 'role model' at the club and do a runner to Yawnion.

This is my one big problem with young Tau Tau. There was a couple moments in the season that past that left me wondering if he even greatly cared about his defensive displays , which is understandable cause he's still a young lad, but once he gets his defense sorted we saw how lethal he can be with ball in hand.

This kid will be an unbelievable centre in a couple of years and i can't wait to see it
