yes what he did was completely unloyal to the bulldogs. but what about his handshake agreement, he has every right to disregard that and sign with the LA galaxy if he wanted to but he seems like he wants to honour his deal with uncle nick, for a much more paltry sum of money.

Damn thats a tough comp... surely he should be untouchable there and guiding his side to a win ever time he runs out right?
Loyalty gotta work both ways, and those mates decided to leave the dogs for better coin themselves when he signed for less to be with the club. club snubbed him as much as he did them.

Kegs can talk the talk but backs it with some strong arguments from what I've observed. He has a funny bone in there as well. You reckon he may be from Honkers???

Fark me, when will you people learn???

Whilst I agree with you stsae, I think he should be a long way off ever playing State of Origin reality is he probably isn't.

I know not many people accept this as common knowledge because they don't watch other teams as closely as they do the Roosters but (and I hate using this comparison but it's hard not to given the similar raw athletic ability) Inglis & Folau were poor defenders for quite a while at the beginning of their careers but still managed to get selected very early on their careers on the back of all the hype.

Brent Tate & Hodges are in the back end of their careers, Yow Yeh doesn't look like he'll ever be the same player again so there's some big opportunities in the QLD team and they'll be looking for some long term replacements. I think it'll be between O'neil, Lee & Moga for the two 3/4 positions that are likely to open up in the coming years.

If Moga has a massive start to the season which is quite possible the hype surrounding him may just be enough to see him even get a jersey this year...

All valid points R6, it's surprising how quickly things have changed with that Origin back line that's dominated for a long time now.

And I've always thought Moga closely resembles especially Folau at that age, similar physical attributes and probably mental attributes also, hence the defense issues. If Moga had debuted in Melba surrounded by their spine and coached by Bellyache I dare say IMO he'd have done a similar job as Folaus debut season.

Shit if you look at what they've done with Sisa Waqa, anything is possible.

SBW is no more a money mercinary than what fittler was by trying to get the most cash he could during the superleague war.

Fittler also had his run ins with the law and media as well as being regularly nominated in the most overrated category(prob cos never won a motm in origin) and it took him 5yrs just to get the chooks to a grand final. Imagine if we dumped him as quick as carney or not given him a chance like you dont want to give sbw one?

when the big names are on the market, if you can make a play for them you would be crazy not to, whether they succeed for you or not.

People dont realise that SBW took a huge paycut by rejecting a Toulon deal and going to NZ.

DING DING DING. We have a winner. Well said.

I guess those who dont want SBW here are very happy with the teams performances over the past 2 years.
We dont need to strengthen the team

Wait til he is up to speed with the intensity required to be a good first grader first.

On that scale he is a long way off.

There are people out there that would lynch you for that destruction of their "messiah." Carney wins in 2010, people would have gone "Brad Whom?"

Bullshit. Brad Fittler is one of the best rugby league players I have ever seen. Regardless of anyone elses performances, he will always be remembered for being a super player.
