One thing that really struck us when we saw the team run out for the first time at the trial in Feb, was how much leaner they looked.

The off season is critical to set up your season. In fact I think your season is determined by the time round 1 comes around.
I'm actually quite interested about the conditioning of players like Pritchard, Eastwood & Kasiano. I reckon every year they've come to training their coaching staff were on their backs telling them to get in th best physical condition they can be to play the best footy but I reckon all 3 played at their heaviest yet and were all carrying a good gut.

When every other club is trying to get their players lean and built like tanks the Bulldogs seem to have done the total opposite especially with these 3 guys. You might disagree with me but that's just my observation..

Robbo has poached Keegan Smith from the Catalan Dragons. He was their Strength, Speed and Nutrition coach.

        Never heard of him.

Polynesians are just a different body type than most athletes. Their bodies are designed for power rather than aerobic fitness.

Walker was a big loss when he left, I think it's a good appointment.

The team's fitness levels haven't been the same since he left. When he was around we finished matches strongly, as opposed the way we finished matches in 2012!

But at least he's not in a coaching position right? Sounds like he's very good at his job too.

I heard he has a tendancy to SMS players in the middle of the night to do push ups and crunches.
