It's got to be Roosters V Souths Round 1, I approve. Why Thursday though?

I would love to see us go old school and bash the Rabbits right from the start, hopefully Robinson/Taylor/Fitzy put a firecracker up the likes of Masoe/FPN/Tasi

start Maloney on the bench and go with 7 forwards for the first 15 minutes

a lineup something like this (I wouldn't pick Mini but we all know he is going to be there)

                    Mini
                    RTS
                    SKD
                    BJ
                    Moga
                    SBW
                    Pearce
                    Masoe
                    Friend
                    Kennedy
                    Tasi
                    Cordner
                    JWH
                    Maloney
                    Guerra
                    FPN
                    Evans

the fact SBW could cover backrow/centre or even five eight means there is no need for Maubs

Friday night would be better but hey its better than monday! As long as we get the home game so the club gets the ticket and merchandise money from the big crowd I'm happy.

Thursday night footy was a big success in round 1 last year. Why not give it a go whilst everyone is excited about the season?

Souths fans will turn up. I am tempted to fly down for it and have a wknd in Sydney. Any sth east qlders keen for a trip?

Same as this yr ralphy, they go straight into the footy show after the match.
