For me, he was asked to take a pay cut so the dogs cld keep there team together. when the players who asked him to do so and then left the club for better offers he had a right to ask for more money to stay on himself. Just my take on why him walking out wasnt as clear cut as it has been made out. whether it is 100% true im not sure either.

I like his mongrel. I like players who hurt other players intentionally. I like his ability out of dummy half & his decision making I like his tackling attitude & if I havn't mentioned it I like his mongrel & grubyness. If there is such a word?

You are very close to the mark, he was asked to take a paycut of close to 250k a season to jeep the likes of Price, Mason, Anasta and Sherwin.

HIs money was basically already invested / spent.

Turvey was a very good footballer and a great person, a football administrator he was not!!!

IMO SBW has not done a thing wrong throughout his career, unless the prudes amongst us think banging a hot iron woman in a toilet cubicle is "Wrong"

Sonny Bill Williams was particularly hurt by the deceit shown from Willie Mason who played a part in Williams remaining a Bulldog and not a Rooster.

I don't hate the bloke Horrie - I've just never warmed to him and will struggle to support him. As I said, he'll get pixie claps. Hey, at least I'm not refusing to go to games like I did whilst the Wanka was at the club. I take that as a step in the right direction.

Whilst I was never openly hostile to Carney joining us, I always had the gut feeling it would end in tears. Which it did. I believe we did well by getting the year we did out of him - I reckon it's the best he'll ever be. I certainly wouldn't have him back now - way too much baggage.

Nah, I'm not the hysterical type.

There will be plenty of others making a fuss of the bloke at the Roosters, so I doubt he will miss my love and affection. Look at me as novelty value - one female who won't be beating others away to get close to him

                    Lol!
I have to say I was opposed to him coming at first. But I've since warmed to the idea though I do worry about the media circus which will surround him. And I think he will look fantastic in a RW&B jersey!
