Hopefully the club will use this case to highlight to all the players just how something like this could potentially ruin your footy career.

Every year the young recruits from all 16 clubs are sent on seminars with both male and female lecturers teaching them responsible behaviour, social media training etc as part of the NRL Player Welfare program. How many more times do they need to be told?

        Many, many more, apparently :/

But, they are footy players so that says a fair bit, I think.

What was that about history never repeats???

For mine the guy seems a goose and overrated...I'd cut our losses and spend the cash elsewhere.

In a lot of cases they do not show up due to being further harassed, threatened or paid off.

Same, then I'd probably whinge and moan when he goes to another club and reaches his potential and tears it up.

Not quite true....its only a select few from each club who go to these seminars.

Big arty he ain't innocent at all. His ex refused to show up to give evidence (despite being subpoened). So they couldnt prove any of the assaults.

And in domestic violence incidents police rarely proceed with action against the complainant for failing to abide by the subpoena.
It simply is not worth it for the police coz the court will not take action against her anyway.

Blowjob should be punished for such a ridiculous act.

Rastafarian could publish a website with all the photos of his lovely exes over the years but I don't stoup to that level mun.

I wonder if that nasty back injury BJ suddenly suffered late last year is now cleared up, ready for pre-season training

                                Either 2 things happened

1 she just wanted publicity and now she fails to show at court

2 she got paid to say nothing
