Speed has been plucked out of no where. the game is not faster than it was 5 years ago with all the wrestling in the ruck.

That Todd Byrne mistackle was a tragedy if I was Chris Walker I would kicked ahead.

Please list all these rule changes that have made the game so different from 5 years ago. As I said, the fundamentals have not changed. You still have to be able to catch, pass, run and tackle....all things he does quite well as a matter of fact.

If you think its as simple as that, you have no idea about footy. The game is a science now and not as simple as you might like to think. Im going to list any changes for you as I dont know them all but dont fool into thinking it hasnt changed. You know it has.

Thats the issue. Its too fine a line to get it right all the time. More often than not, you will get done for it. Dont get me wrong, Im a fan of the shoulder but the game is changing contrary to what some on here may think.

So he technically has attended for pre-season training on the first day! Can't do much more than physio after surgery last week!

I never said that the game hasn't changed. I just refute your claim that it is significantly different from the game in 2008. I also like Wayne Bennett's comment after they beat us in the 2010 GF. He claims its a simple game and if you run harder and tackle harder than your opponent then you will generally win the game and that has been the case since 1908. But then Wayne Bennett probably knows nothing about football in your eyes.

We were beaten by a better team in that grand final. Actually a better team and ourselves.

I guess those 6 premierships of his were all flukes or lucky refereeing.

Really why am I bothering even trying to discuss something with you. Anybody who resorts to the 'you know nothing about the game' line because somebody happens to disagree with their opinion without being able to back up their own statements with any facts is not really worth it in the long run!
