      Chook.
The players may have signed one contract but surely they realized they were being paid/given things that were not on their official NRL contracts nonetheless.

        Yep so let's de-register O'Sullivan only.

If O'Sullivan was with the Sharks he would have been an 'innocent victim' in the salary cap scandal

I must say that post gives me a stiffy.

IMO players get what they can, why would they give a fark how many contracts they sign. It's not as though they get together and all do a cap audit after they sign.

Player managers are there to make as much as they can for their client, the player. Again why the fark would they care how many contracts their players sign.

Recruitment staff get players to the club. I would doubt they would sit in on Senior NRL players contract negotiations. If they did it surely wouldn't be for financial reasons. Sure they would work with the suits on how many players of what type are required to fill a cap, but to say they organized cap rorts, I just don't get it.

News, Melbas owners and the games owners at the time are the ONLY ones who escaped that farce unscathed. And to this day News use their Media arm to defend themselves and implicate others thru rumors and innuendo.

            It's called the patsy game.

What ever happened to Brian Waldron? Has disappeared completely.

Is he living on some remote island sipping cocktails with Rupert?

Why is he picking on POS but says nothing about Bellamy? Does he really believe that Bellamy knew nothing about players salaries?

Of course they were, that's how Greggy Inglis ended up with a speedboat he couldn't drive. But by not signing the covert contract the player could plead "plausible deniability" if they got busted, except for Sham Smith who has zero deniability.

                    Chook.
