Ralphy - your position seems weak to me: You say NO to SBW, yet 'want to be proven wrong'.

    A bet each way?
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

We have a difference of opinion but wouldnt it be a boring place if we all went around throwing high fives at each other? Stand up for your beliefes Patchy and show some balls no matter what people think. You are lying to yourself otherwise and we all know you are good at that. Youve been in denial over something for a very long time now!

I just hope the club survives without you & your son.
Are you going to boycott the chookpen whilst SBW is playing for us or are you going to stand up for your belief's ralphy and show your 1 ball no matter what people think?

          Exactly how Mickey likes it.

Or is that a "bit" each way.

Too much bullschit more like. He said it and according to some, he is a very trusting and honest person, so it must be so right?

Nope but the club comes first cobber. If we reap the rewards then great but Im not a fan of going about it this way. We dont need this headline to be a success. Im also man enough to say when I am wrong. So far I havnt been tho. Im waiting for someone to show me otherwise.

                    • Just watched the presser - gees I was impressed with how he handled himself (paraphrasing a bit)...

                      - I need to train and work as hard as anyone and if you stay humble in that sense you will succeed
                      - I am not here to talk about the dogs - There's a time and place for that and it's not here
                      - Thanking the Japanese club for letting him do the presser and stating he is currently a Rugby player in Japan (compare this to Wing and the Souths debacle)
                      - The pressure of a one year deal is as much on me as on the club
                      - stay humble, work hard and do my best
                      - There'll be a target on me - that's what motivates me
                      - As soon as you get a big head you don't learn anything
                      - Judge me by how I go on the field
                      - Hazem's entitled to his opinions and I'll leave it at that
                      - gaining my team mates respect through working hard at training

Interestingly enough this didn't seem to align with any of the press coverage which all focussed on the line about the "glass half full" which I understood to be about I love Rugby too and it's been good to me - fair enough.

I don't know how he will go but his attitude and bearing seemed very impressive and if that translates to behaviour it can only be good for our young kids.

                      Bring on 2013!!
