sonny reinforcing the fact that he's honouring the handshake with Nick...
willing to work hard as he did in rugby to get the results
wants to be considered as a boxer as well
knows fans will write him off but he's motivated with this
likes the fact theres polynesians in the team which will make him feel at home, also likes the youth in the team
humble in his attitude, will be judged on his on field performance but knows it will be tough & gaining his team mates respect
confident in his skill levels, challenge to be in the forwards which where he reckons he'll be
Does not dwell on negatives but realises his injuries are a hurdle
El Masri welcome to his opinions
Focussed on making the 22 for next season
Will be making a plan with Robbo reff season before he returns to Japan
Definitely back for the first round, 3-4 weeks prior to start in prep
vanilla contract via law firm for one year, salary cap ....jus made it
Has met with roosters players during his rehab"Qui audet adipiscitur"
WHO DARES WINS

Seems like a hard nut.
I like it.
I was thinking exactly the same thing, he is very articulate and well spoken and comes across as a real professional. I also don't think he will take crap, and will be more than willing to drop players regardless of who they are if they aren't performing.
**I noticed in the one of the rolling banner at the bottom of screen that the Sea Eagles have signed Kane Lawton from the Titans. He is a great little hooker and would love to have signed him, should Friend be as shite as he was last year.

he certainly doesn't give you confidence he will stay longer than 1 yr
found it interesting no 3rd party deals included in the contract, means we had cleared a fair chunk of salary cap space and if he doesn't stay we will be a major player in the transfer market for 2014.
looks like he will be here rehabing with us for a month before heading back to japan.
don't be suprised to see either a 60 minutes interview or an extended interview with Gus Gould to be aired fairly soon.
