Correct. It's a legal rort and one I'm glad we are exploiting.

    Chook.

Seriously, if your not going to renew your membership over 1 signing thats pretty pathetic, but each to there own i suppose.

To me its all about supporting the "club" not the individual players
Well I actually decided not to renew at the end of the season. As for the Burrow, I won't be there.

For me, just say SBGronk was signing at the Eels or Souths for one year and was boxing for example, I don't think you would find any ROOSTER supporters thinking it was a great idea. Actually most would be laughing over and over!

But everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I couldn't be any more underwhelmed about this signing. It's right up there with Luke Dorn.....

Just another Nick P purchase of a mutt from the RSPCA of the NRL. One of many, most of which have turned ugly.

Can't see this one being any different.

BB! you have every right not to contribute financially to the club if you're not OK with this signing. I sat out 2 years when the Wanka was at the club, because I wasn't prepared to contribute to a club that had him on the books. Never regretted it either.

And whilst I will be at the games in 2013, the best that Scummy Bill can expect from me is pixie claps - and that will be an effort.

All part of the ups and downs of being a Chooks fan.

It matters little what you, me or any other supporter for that matter, thinks of SBW. What matters is whether or not he is welcomed by his team mates as a valuable addition to the squad.

Cmon Novice, compared to the other ex-dogs signings, SBW is in another league all together.

              He is Elite

Hopefully the real story about his departure from the dogs will come out in the near future, They turned their backs ond tried to take advantage of him,Nasser may oe may not be a grub, however he is a good businessman and seen the dogs trying to expolit this kid.

In the end the Muts were heavily compensated for his departure.

IMO He will be here at least 3 yrs

Lastly the bloke is a winner

              Dogs - GF winners
              CRusaders - winners
              Chiefs - winners
              All blacks - winners

Any issues will be forgotten when he starts carving and we win football games.

                    Welcome $BW !!!

Watched the announcement live. I was cold on SBW at the start then started to warm to the idea but I must say after watching him speak, many of those initial feelings have risen again. Usually at these things the players are very warm towards the club they are joining but SBW was very hesitant. I know he is known for being honest but instead of it being about the emotions of joining our great club it was more about risk, regret and getting out early if things dont go to plan and it seems the ONLY reason he is coming is his respect for the handshake agreement with Politis. To be fair he did say that he would extend if things go well but how far do we have to bend in order to please him?

The only positive for me was the praise that he had for the rest of our squad after he met them. He seemed genuine when he said that they were a great bunch. According to him they were all very receptive. At the moment this is all we have to play with. If Robinson can get them glued maybe he will come to love us and kick on for a few years but there is no doubt we have to ask ourselves how good our squad is without him because it was confirmed today that we have no room left in our cap.

Wow I just heard that the Roosters signed SBW, I didn't see that coming. Go the mighty ROOSTERS.

I hope Ralphy is alright we havn't heard from him. He is probably asleep, it's probably in the middle of the night in Holland.

Ralphy will boycott going to all matches next year I bet.

Strangely, I watched the announcement and was mightily impressed by SBW. He spoke from the heart and seems like a very honest and unexpectedly humble young man. Unlike many of these events, there was zero bullshit.

Welcome Sonny. You may just be our best signing since Fittler.

Lol... Brett Finch was part of a Gf winning side. Its a game of more then one player.

As for being Elite, I dont regard elite as a player who only averages 16 and a bit games per season.
