Regarding 4c, if you'd like to let me have your details, I'll give you a shout the next time I'm selling a used car.
Personally mate, I think we sold our soul when we signed him, as well as the fact that no one knows if he can still actually play or not.

1.) SBW walked out on one of our arch enemies 5 years ago... I have NO sympathy for them. In 5 years I would like to imagine he is less impressionable these days
2.) He is a true marquee player - the club will profit on and off the field
3.) He wouldn't be coming if he didn't want to
4.) One year deal is NOT bad business by the club because:
a.) If it doesn't work out we cut our losses easily
b.) If it does work out you would imagine he will be keen to stay
c.) We can effectively legally cheat the cap by allowing him to earn supplementary income from boxing/yawnion in between contracts
d.) He takes most of the risk on, he is one injury away from losing a lot of $$$
5.) He doesn't drink or party - he won't create headlines for poor behaviour (something the club can't afford)
6.) The players are all keen as mustard to have him around, they don't seem to care about his special conditions. They are the ones affected by it.
7.) He is the most damaging and naturally talented forward most of us have/ever will see.
8.) We won't lose him to Origin.
Quit your f*cking moaning and commend the club on a good bit of business."Qui audet adipiscitur"

I was initially indifferent to the signing, however after seeing all the other clubs' supporters butthurt over this, i am truly behind SBW.
I hate the tall poppy mentality humans have. Instead of appreciating someone who is obviously driven and talented enough to succeed in both RL, RU and boxing, they like to bring them down via perceived thoughts(read: made up) of their character. Say what you want about Sonny - injury prone, fighting scrubs, bench warmer in a superb team, however he has achieved more in his 26 years than most players( or people in general if you want to look at the wide spectrum) have in their lifetime.
I will not only cheer for him because he plays for the chooks, i will cheer for him because i love to see people succeed in the face of all the haters trying to bring them down.
... the best part of this is that the same people blinded by hate will line our club's pockets with cash by viewing our games live or on tv, in an attempt to get enjoyment out of a young man's failure.
Go Sonny Go!

The signing is a big gamble but all player signings are a gamble. Injury will play a big part on how SBW performs.
My honest opinion is that I think the Roosters are mad for getting involved with him but now he is officially at the club I am very much looking forward to 2013.
SBW is the one putting so much pressure on himself, every opposition forward in the game will want to make a name for themselves by trying to put the big hit on him so he will be in for a torrid time.
Only because he is playing for the Roosters that I hope he is successful.

1- Pointless because it is what 'you would like to think', not fact. Fact is he did a dog of a runner on the game of rugby league. I give you credit though for being so forgiving and positive.
2- The club will benefit off the field, they have been for a while already. On the field, crystal ball stuff but I do see some impact being had. Will not be the reason if we finish near the top next season imo, our halves will be our key next season but thats only my crystal ball though.
3- He said he is honouring a handshake agreement. If he is the honourable man many here think he is, then he could very well be honouring that but not want to be here. He has stated himself it isnt his number 1 place to be.
4- Transit lounge stuff. 1 year is totally pointless. He most likely wont stay because he wants to return to where his heart is. Yawnion, to prepare for the World Cup.
5- Are you serious? You obviously didnt do your homework. Read on...
On 17 August 2005 he was charged with drink driving; the Bulldogs fined him $5,000 over the incident and he appeared in Waverley Local Court on 7 September. He was convicted of drink driving, with a blood alcohol level of .075.
In 2007, Williams was caught in a compromising position with Australian model and ironwoman Candice Falzon. A photo taken on a mobile phone of the incident was published on the Daily Telegraph website. He later apologised to his then girlfriend over the incident and said he was "ashamed and embarrassed".
On 17 June 2007, Williams was caught by police urinating on a wall in an alleyway near a nightclub in Cronulla in Sydney and was given an infringement notice and fined $650. He subsequently admitted he had an alcohol problem and said he would seek professional help. Almost a month later, Williams smashed a paparazzi photographer's camera after being photographed leaving a Kings Cross nightclub – with damages being as high as between $10,000 and $15,000.
Thats almost more crap than one Toddy Carney and with such a press manget, the headlines are going be coming very fast.
6- I cant speak for the players and I am certain you cant either.
7- How can you say he 'IS' the most damaging forward? He has not played league for 5 years and even during his best it was very arguable who actually was.
8- No arguments there but our halves pairing will more than likely be broken up during origin which will have a far greater impact.
Im looking forward to next year. Its going to be one hell of a ride!

1- I don't think he is that good a boxer
2- it takes a lot of money to make money in boxing. Often fights are determined by who buys the contract to promote the fight.
3- I don't know if its all about the money, obviously it's one of thd benefits of doing all three sports. I can't speak for Sonny but maybe he really does like the challenge.
There are some people who can't stay in the one job or place for long periods because they get bored. I don't know, but I won't begrudge someone earning as much as they can while the oppurtunities are there.
