  • Dont be a Crook, Robbo.

I dont follow soccer (sorry Football) very closely but found the comments made by the outgoing FC coach interesting...how one of the main reasons he quit was the pressure in coaching a superstar like Del Pierro.

Could a similar fate await Trent Robinson?

I just hope he gets the right support and latitude that some of our previous coaches didnt when it counts.

Rumour has it that the outgoing FC coach would struggle to coach his backside to crap.

I think he quit because he knew He would be sacked for replacing Del Pierro when 2 nil up with almost half an hour to go Only to see them lose 3-2

To be fair Crook isn't the only one to blame, Terry McFlynn is rubbish. I can't imagine having a 30 year old captain who has done SFA for 7 years at the club... oh wait

JFC this is drawing a long bow. For starters players in the team respect robbo and his administration, in particular JT. Secondly SBW was politis's idea so if the SBW thing doesn't work out then he will be given the flick and robbo will see out his second year.

Exactly. He has been crap for the last 2 year's and is captain.

A bit like Brad Fittler and Todd Carney. They single-handedly won us games, and the rest of the team became very complacent and even deluded in over-estimating their own abilities and efforts.

So by that comment we can expect Del Pierro to go missing in some big games too ....

                        I highly doubt it.

Del Piero actually tried to help him. Besides, as a coach, the better the player the better I looked.

This is a discussion for a whole other forum but Crook had crook help. Where was Corica and Kalac when it was all turning to shit?

Sydney FC should go for Sir Alex Ferguson as their manager. It might cost around 1.2-1.3 mil but it'll be worth it. Very underated manager hes much better than Capello

Yeah ok Goat, I'll phone Sydney FC tonight with that idea while I'm in my spa filled with crownies having a foursome with Megan Gale, Jennifer Hawkins and Miranda Kerr. I'll also call uncle Nick and tell him to sign Hasler as coach, with Bennett and Bellamy as Assistants, Meninga as U20's coach and Dymock as head cheerleader coach.

The only way that Fergie will leave ManU is in a wooden box. He will coach till he dies.
