just had a look at wynnums web site. green took over in 2010 where the club sat 10th after the 2009 season, his first year got them to the 5th spot. 2011 he then played in the grand final and won against seasgulls ,whom only lost one game all year, and then backed it up with the 2012 grand final. well i personally welcome him to easts and hope he keep his coaching skills as high. i hope the existing 20s players accept him and i hope he can develope the new upencoming guys as jt did1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020

Sydney Roosters rugby league club sign Wynnum Manly Seagulls premiership winning coach Paul Green
FORMER Queensland State of Origin player Paul Green has signed a two-year deal with the Sydney Roosters as coach of the Toyota Cup team.
Green has coached Wynnum-Manly to consecutive premierships in the Intrust Super Cup in Brisbane.
"It's a great feeling to sign on with the Roosters, it'll be a huge challenge but one I am pretty excited about,'' he said.
"Coaching at this level is obviously the next step for me as a coach, it's kind of a logical progression because after winning a couple of competitions there's not much more I can do at this level.
"Obviously it's a bit disappointing leaving the Seagulls after all the success there but they're still in great shape for next season.''
Green, who had a decorated playing career with both Brisbane Easts, Cronulla and Parramatta said he did not know if he would still coach the Queensland Residents side.
