No one understandes the amount of luxury Linnett gets. On the outside of Thurston and inside of Bowen.

And Davos was right, remember in 2010 Carney giving ball to SKD, he was the best centre then and will probsbly step up to the plate again when Maloney fires. Hopefully he doesnt give a performance like the latter half of 2012. Maybe even Aubo will get firing again.

My main worry is the corruption in the Roosters. Mini will probably get captain just coz of loyalty and will probably keep no 1 spot over Rts. Sure he can play at wing but I wouldnt want him to get wasted on wing and take the spots of Tupou, Bj or Oldfield.

I think he is way better then averge, I felt he was a loss... he was very hard to stop and is only going to keep getting better

Kane did himself a massive injury scoring against St George too at the SCG in 2010. Wonderful atmosphere that day but very frustrating game to watch, as are most games against them. Losing Kane was a disappointment for me too. They all grow an extra leg when they leave us usually...

I don't thing that kane linnett is the superhero that everyone thinks. He is playing on the outside of thursto, so he sees plenty of good ball. Most of his tries this season came from good passes close to the line. When we played him and Phil Graham on the one side, it was like I was seeing double. He is a phil Graham style of player and not a Inglis/ Folau superstar style of player. Would be worth 250-275K at best.

I actually prefer SKD over him. When we get a proper halves combo next year we will be reminded of the freak that SKD truly is.

Yea they do have quite a few players coming off contract including all their big names, Thurston, Tamou, Scott, Bowen & Tate. So they are guaranteed to let some go. Dont forget they signed Rona from us as well from 2013 onwards. So to me it looks like they will be releasing Tate or he will be retiring.

But I am sure if we can compete in terms of $$$ Linnett will be keen to come back to Sydney. I think Dragons might make a big play for him as well, they have cap room, need backs and Linnett is a local junior.

Would be good though if we can get both our former players back (Tamou & Linnett) ! That would be perfect....

id def go for tamou firstr as a big priority! alwayds good to get a old paddo boy back in the line up! although tamou will obviously demand a much bigger pay that he did when we foolishly released him!

At that price I don't think we'd get value for money granted he'd probably sit on the bench most of the time and spend 1/2 the year (or more) playing for Newtown.

Why would he be playing for Newtown? We have no centre depth atm and without doubt the dumbest pair of Centre's in the NRL. We will have BJ 'hands like feet' Leulia and Shaun 'the grabber' Kenny-Dowall as our Centres for next season.

No, no, no, no, FFS!! Get over him. He's gone. Our centres at their best (we haven't seen it yet) will be way better than Linnett. He has peaked, That is as good as he gets. He's playing along side the best in the world right now and possibly the best ever. Hw aint getting better. We definitely don't need him. Tamou & or Linnett won't happen, once they go, they rarely come back. In fact I don't think I can remember anyone leaving the club & returning to us, certainly not with any glory anyway. Now I'll be bombarded with names of returning heroes, but I can't think of any?

Me neither BA. They mostly leave us to go to the vermin, have bad luck and then years later all the stories come out about how badly done by they were there and never got paid properly etc..
